The meeting between representatives of Nicaragua and Russia for Latin America addressed issues related to bilateral cooperation
Alexander Shchetinin, director of the Latin American Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, held a meeting with a senior delegation from Nicaragua in Managua, the capital of the Latin American country.
Shchetinin, who also serves as Special Representative of the Russian Foreign Minister for Relations with Latin American and Caribbean Countries, met with the Foreign Minister of Nicaragua; Denis Moncada Colindres and the Special Representative of the President of Nicaragua for Cooperation with Russia; Laureano Ortega Murillo.

In addition, Shchetinin met with Nicaraguan National Assembly parliamentarians who are part of the friendship group with Russia.
