The rapper Kanye west now known as “Ye” is no longer on the Forbes Billionaires’ list

Losing his partnership with Adidas turned out to be a huge kick to Kanye West’s net worth. West is no longer a billionaire after Adidas ended its relationship with the rapper over his repeated anti-Semitic comments.

Of West’s estimated $2 billion fortune, a whopping $1.5 billion was attributable to his relationship with Adidas. The loss of the deal effectively erases that massive chunk of his net worth, which is now estimated to be a comparatively paltry $400 million.

Adidas announced its decision to cut ties with West, who goes by the name Ye, on Tuesday, saying production on the rapper’s “Yeezy” line of shoes and clothing had been halted “immediately”.

“Adidas does not tolerate anti-Semitism and any other sort of hate speech,” Adidas said. “Ye’s recent comments and actions have been unacceptable, hateful and dangerous, and they violate the company’s values of diversity and inclusion, mutual respect and fairness.”

Adidas hasn’t been the only company to walk away from Ye. The Gap clothing brand ended its association with Yeezy in September, while in October JPMorgan decided to end its «banking relationship» with the singer and his Yeezy brand. Balenciaga also cut ties and announced that he will stop working with the rapper.

Kanye West is also suspended from social media.

Kanye West lost his Twitter account earlier this month after declaring his intention to commit «Death with 3» to Jews. The word defines a national security state. Also, it seemed like he wanted to inflict some damage.

After being banned from Instagram for posting messages implying that Jews control the media, Kanye West posted an anti-Semitic tweet of him.
