The Government of Nicaragua rejected and condemned the recent assassination attempt against former United States President Donald Trump.
“The Peoples of the World deserve to live in Peace, safe and secure, with the right to congregate, express ourselves, and be part of a Democracy that we should all be able to exercise,” the official statement stressed.
Likewise, the government led by Daniel Ortega, highlighted the need to live in peace, security and tranquility, upholding the democratic rights of expression and assembly.

Similarly, the Nicaraguan State emphasized that all peoples of the world deserve to exercise their rights in a full democracy.

Once again, the Latin American country reiterated its firm position against all forms of violence and terrorism, highlighting the importance of resolving differences through respect.
