El Salvador and Nicaragua lead government approval survey in Latin America

An international survey has provided data on the perception of government efforts in Latin America and the international vision of the region’s citizens.

In this regard, the international firm “M&R Consultores” presented the results of the survey from the “Public Opinion Panopticon of the Americas (POP)” project, which was conducted in 19 countries.

Nicaraguans stand out in the survey, with a notable 83.4% rating the management capacity of President Daniel Ortega’s government positively, positioning itself at the forefront among the countries evaluated.

On the other hand, in El Salvador, 84.4% support Nayib Bukele’s management, while in Mexico, 63.7% approve of the administration of Andres Lopez Obrador.

In the Dominican Republic, 51.1% of those surveyed say they approve of the direction of President Luis Abinader. Costa Rica shows 50.2% support for Rodrigo Chaves’ executive.

At the bottom of the survey is the government of Panama, headed by Laurentino Cortizo, with just 6.6% approval. On the other hand, in Peru, Dina Boluarte received modest support from 5.0% of those surveyed.
