The 2022 Municipal Elections are approaching in Nicaragua, and the Supreme Electoral Council of the Central American country is preparing the Electoral Materials, for their subsequent distribution in the national territory.
Recently, the electoral entity concluded the printing of the Electoral Ballots that will be used this coming November 6, so that Nicaraguan citizens elect their municipal authorities.
The presiding magistrate of the SEC, Brenda Rocha Chacón, at a press conference, highlighted that as an institution they are «committed to this research and development of new technologies», established in the Nicaraguan Electoral Law. In this sense, she highlighted that the Electoral Ballots have «all cutting-edge security and authenticity standards.»
Rocha has reiterated, the recognition to all political organizations for participating and being protagonists, in each of the activities that compete in the current electoral process.
The authorities of the Nicaraguan Electoral Power are in the process of making the Electoral Suitcases with all the Electoral Materials, which in the next few days will be transferred to all the municipalities that make up Nicaragua.

In these Municipal Elections, 3,722,884, are summoned to elect the positions of mayors, mayors, vice mayors and vice mayors, and their Municipal Councils, in the 153 municipalities of the country.
