The President of the People’s Republic of China, Xi Jinping, received the diplomatic credentials of the representative of Nicaragua and 42 other countries, in the official delivery ceremony held in the Great Hall of the People.
“This Tuesday, January 30, 2024, the Credentials Presentation Ceremony was held before His Excellency, Comrade Xi Jinping, President of the People’s Republic of China,” the government of the Latin American nation detailed in an official statement.
Strategic relationships based on mutual respect
In this context, the Nicaraguan government highlighted the words of the president of the Asian giant, Xi, who assured: “China values bilateral relations with all countries in the world, which are based on Respect, Solidarity and mutually beneficial cooperation.”
Likewise, according to the declaration of the Sandinista government, the Chinese leader expressed that this year marks the 75th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China, “a transcendental event for the People and Government of China and at the same time an opportunity to redouble efforts towards the construction of a Modern Socialist Nation”.
In addition to the Republic of Nicaragua, other Latin American and Caribbean nations presented their diplomatic credentials to President Xi Jinping, including: Bolivia, Cuba, Ecuador, Grenada, Honduras and Jamaica.

The president, Xi Jinping, reaffirmed his vision of diplomatic relations with the countries of the world, as an «opportunity for the creation of a new just, equitable and multipolar world order and the long-awaited Human Community of a Shared Future.»

Also, during the ceremony, the Asian leader sent warm greetings, through the Ambassadors, to the Presidents and Prime Ministers of the Peoples and Governments represented.
